Extreme Personal Training Session One

So tonight I started my first session of Extreme personal training. Been un fit as all hell I knew I was going to be in for trouble.

* It started with a warm up for 5 mins + Stretching.

* Then followed by a 1.2km sprint which I completed in 3 minutes 50 seconds (hope to beat this time in following weeks)

* Then followed by 1 minute of push ups, you had to do your max amount of push ups you could in 1 minute, I was able to do 33 push ups (i suck at push ups)

* The followed by some 20m sprints I was able to do 3.7 seconds as my time.

* Next was a circuit with bench press, skipping, spiderman push ups, squats, box jumps, and jumping over a rope.

* Next after that was more sprints up a hill 4 times over followed by push ups and sit ups.

* Finally came stretching.

I currently weight 96kg and I hope after a few more weeks of training my weight will be down even more.

I will be training over the coming days, running and also doing gym hopefully =)

Limited drinking and eating, I also aim to drink plenty of water each day =)

Slim Body Challenge to loose 10kg (Guys weight loss).

Hi All,

My name is James Norquay and I run this website Slim Body.
I currently work as a Senior SEO and Social Media Specialist and I have the aim of this site is to provide you with weight loss information but I have had a small change in direction for this specific website i hope to make it into a weight loss challenge for myself. I currently weigh in at around 97KG after the Christmas party’s and new years party’s I have put on some serious kilograms. I have never really had a problem with my weight been 6 foot 3 and stocky people think I am just big but I know I had a problem when my cousin said jokingly to me, when is the baby due!! been a guy this pissed me off seeing people like Mike (the situation) on TV it made me realize I need to do something so I have set my self a goal to loose 8-10kg in 6 months. This challenge will start on the 15th of January! And finish on the 15th of June!!. I want to take my 97kg weight down to around 89kg – 87kg.

So here is the plan of things to do -

1. Stop eating snack foods at work (will post photos of the nasty treats that pop up)
2. Try and get on some type of diet to cut weight (will post detailed information)
3. Sign up to a GYM!
4. Sign up to personal training once a week (DONE – starts 19th January)
5. Cut back on drinking so much alcohol (Primarily beer)
6. Start Running more with the dog.
7. Sign up to a sport such as soccer.

So starting on the 15th of January 2011 this challenge will begin and this blog will be at the forefront!!
